Bio/Research

Scott Jensen is a professor of Speech Communication Studies and Sports Communications at Webster University. Jensen has taught at the university level for 32 years. Jensen has coached/taught speech and debate for most of his career and managed the forensic program at Webster for the past 20 years. He has designed two degree programs at Webster University. Jensen has presented papers and workshops dealing with debate, persuasion, sports content analysis, conflict management, and public speaking. Jensen s held several national and regional forensic and debate leadership positions. He has won national and regional service and teaching awards, including Webster's top teaching award, the William T. Kemper Excellence in Teaching Award. Jensen completed his undergraduate education at School of the Ozarks and received an MA in Speech Communication from Central Missouri State University.
