Bio/Research

William F. Hall has been an adjunct professor of political science in the Department of History, Politics, and International Relations at Webster University in St. Louis since 1997 and also holds joint adjunct faculty appointments in management and business in the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology also at Webster University. Hall also holds additional adjunct faculty appointments in both political science and history in the University College Division in Arts and Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, where he has held appointments since 1998.

Hall is an experienced political analyst, public administrator, policy advisor, business-government relations and management consultant with four decades of experience in federal, state, local and international politics, public administration and business-government relations. He has consulted and advised elected and appointed politicians, government officials and a wide range of businesses, including major Fortune 500 corporations, throughout the United States. His professional career has included positions on the staff of the United States Senate as a special assistant to former United States Senator and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Senator John C. Danforth (R-MO), and he has also been employed in senior-level federal positions by the United States Government, including Alternative Dispute Resolution-Mediator (ARD) and as Director of Field Office for the U.S. Department of Justice, Community Relations Service Division (CRS). He has also served as a special assistant to Paul Gibson, Jr., (D-NYC), deputy mayor for Economic Development, Office of the Mayor of the City of New York and as a member of the Chicago Mayoral Transition Team for Mayor-Elect, Harold L. Washington, Jr. (D-IL), Chicago, IL.
